ASUS AGP-V6600 PRO64 GeForce 256
Powered by the nVidia GeForce256 processor, the ASUS V6600 Pro64 features AGP Pro support, delivering four times the electrical power of the standard AGP interface through an extended connector. With a built-in 64 MB frame buffer and 4x4 Engine Integrated T&L (Transform and Lighting), the graphics card is optimised for DirectX 7 and OpenGL drivers. Other features include 256-bit QuadPipe Rendering and AGP 4X with fast writes. The card was tested on an Intel 440BX motherboard, a P-III 500 MHz processor and 128 MB of PC100 SDRAM. The card logged 51.6 fps in 3D Winmark 2000, an average fps of 71.53 (normal) and 62.77 (best quality) in Quake III.
With an overall of 84.6, the performance of the ASUS V6600 Pro64 compares well with that of the Creative GeForce and the ASUS AGP-V6600 Deluxe.
